Class procedures to consider:

  • Sit in your assigned seat.
  • 10 minutes tardy = Absence
  • Random quizzes at the beginning of class cannot be made up by unexcused tardy students.
  • You are required to have a hand written version of all presentations for a daily grade. Keep them dated and up to date to ensure full credit!
  • You are allowed to bring your own device to use for school purposes only.       
  •  (lose daily credit for violation and/or impounding of device)
  • Be ready to start working at the beginning of the period.
  • There will be no loitering by the entrance before or at the end of class
  • Student initiated interruptions of lesson could result in a zero for the day.
  • All presentations will be emailed to you upon completion of unit.
  • All tests will be based on presentations given in class.

Your Grade:

                                                       55% of your grade is from exams

                                    45%  your lab work, notebook, work sheets or daily assignments

                                        (9weeks exam 10% of 9weeks)(Final 10% of everything)

  • You will be allowed one redo of any non-comprehensive exam that you took honorably. The original score is combined with the redo.
  • Students with a semester average of 90 or better may be exempt eligible via EPISD regulations.
  • All missed exams are recorded as zero until made up.
  • Extra credit activities are +1% of semester grade unless otherwise noted.
