Chemistry Pre-AP and Chemistry

Welcome to the 2016-17 school year at Coronado
High School.  I will endeavor to create an educational environment to foster desire and passion for knowledge.

I earned my B.S. in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso.
I also got additional graduate courses in chemistry and biology at the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico.  After working as a chemist at the American British Cowdray (ABC) Hospital in Mexico City, and staying at home with my family for a couple of years, I chose to follow my vocation and begin my passion for teaching.  I was very fortunate to teach overseas for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools where I taught National Standards, and the International Baccalaureate HL and SL Biology and Chemistry.
I am now in my 17th year working for EPISD, this is my 11th year at Coronado High School, and I look forward to a great and successful school year.
